A lot of people will tell you that college admissions is solely a numbers game. That's a lie - and I'm the proof. I came from a working-class background and navigated college admissions without the help of guidance counselors and got into elite colleges. I've helped many soon-to-be-college grads do the same. Here's the insight: what colleges want to know is whether or not you are smart, thoughtful, ambitious, and if you'll fit into their school's mold. Those usually sound like: High GPA, High LSAT, and a ton of extracurricular activities that pad your college resume. But not everybody has those items -- and not everyone needs them to get into great schools. That’s where I come in. I specialize in helping students identify the 'hidden assets' in their background: the grit, the unique perspective, and the authentic voice that standardized tests simply can’t capture. I was accepted to four Ivy League universities and six highly competitive combined Bachelor’s/DDS dental programs. I ultimately chose to attend Stony Brook University on a full scholarship, where I was also admitted to the Honors College. Through this journey, I gained firsthand experience navigating competitive admissions, building a strong application profile, and crafting essays that authentically showcase a student’s strengths and story.

Going to the Air Force Academy was the best decision of my life. Because I went to school there, I earned my master's degree from Harvard (for free), got a job at one of the best places to work (Bain), and even met my wife. After it gave me so much, I wanted to give back to the Academy by serving as an admissions support officer. In this position, I mentored and evaluated 5 applicants, learning exactly what Service Academies look for in potential candidates.
