Emma’s College Qualifications
Welcome to my profile! As a Gates Cambridge Scholar and PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge, I bring a wealth of academic and research experience to my coaching. My journey through the University of Notre Dame, where I majored in Honors Biochemistry and minored in Data Science, has equipped me with a strong foundation in both the sciences and analytical thinking. I've had the privilege of working in diverse research settings, including the Mayo Clinic and Pfizer, which has honed my ability to guide students through the complexities of college applications, especially those with a focus on STEM fields. Also, I was able to serve on an admissions board for a scholars group at Notre Dame, so I've learned what they are looking for in a future student. Whether you're aiming for top-tier universities or need help navigating the admissions process, I'm here to provide personalized support and insights. Let's work together to craft a compelling application that showcases your unique strengths and aspirations. Reach out to start your journey towards academic success!

About Emma
When I was younger, I always got excited by science and math. I love the idea of constantly solving problems and challenging myself in new ways. At the University of Notre Dame, I became passionate about solving the complex mystery of curing cancer. During this time, I began my research experiences in breast cancer work where I gained experience internationally, at Mayo Clinic, and at Pfizer to gain industry insight. Simultaneously, I was learning how to teach and mentor other students throughout their Organic Chemistry courses, and I sat on an admissions board for a scholar group at Notre Dame. Through all of these experiences, I have gained significant expertise and experience in the admissions of US and UK Masters and PhD admissions programs, elite scholarship applications (i.e. Goldwater and Gates Cambridge), and internships in the biomedical space. In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball, going outside, and being at a lake!
Why do I coach?
I coach because I had incredible mentors who helped me navigate the chaos of college, postgraduate, and scholarship/fellowship application processes. I hope to do the same for upcoming students. I aim to be a guiding hand through advice on generating a resume, writing essays, planning out your future experiences, interview preparation, and any other help you need!
