Hello and welcome to my profile! With a robust background in management consulting, I bring valuable insights from my time as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company, where I specialized in strategy and served as Chief of Staff for North America Talent Attraction (i.e., MBA and BA recruiting).

Worked as an interviewer at Bain Tokyo (both undergrad and experienced hire), and have coached over 50 private clients since leaving Bain. Have helped people get into McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Strategy&, Roland Berger, and more — all in Japan.

I have worked in consulting in various places. I have gotten 2/3 MBB offers, and interviewed at all 3 MBB. I have also worked in smaller boutiques, and have done some independent consulting as well. I have spent over 8 months prepping, and have prepped others who have went to Bain, BCG, McKinsey, Kearney, EY< LEK, Deloitte, and more.

With firsthand experience navigating the rigorous consulting recruitment process – including being one of two selected for Dalberg, Geneva after three rounds of competitive case interviews – I offer unique insights into excelling at case interviews. At Harvard Business School, I was specifically requested by the Careers Service to coach peers in consulting preparation, helping many secure offers from firms such as McKinsey, BCG, Strategy&, and Kearney. My coaching blends lessons from my own successes and challenges with the expertise gained from years of mentoring professionals and MBAs. I’m a current consultant at BCG and Chicago Booth MBA in Houston, working across energy, climate, and sustainability. Before business school, I worked in engineering and decarbonization roles, and I’ve built my career across Australia, and the United States. That international path gives me a nuanced perspective on positioning, especially for candidates navigating cross-border applications or non-traditional backgrounds. I’ve been through the MBB recruiting process successfully and understand what actually moves the needle, clear structuring, strong communication under pressure, and authentic leadership stories. At Booth, I served as a Career Adviser and Admissions Ambassador, mentoring applicants and students through essays, interviews, and career decisions. I’ve reviewed dozens of applications and coached candidates targeting top U.S. MBA programs and consulting roles. My style is direct and structured. I spent 7 years at BCG, from Associate to Project Leader. During this time, I was also first Recruiting Coach and then Interviewer, having coached and interviewed 100+ applicants for Associate & Consultant positions. I did my MBA degree at INSEAD, during which I coached 50+ of my co-students who were trying to get into Consulting. Finally, after leaving consulting, I also intensively coached my wife who as a result got offers from McKinsey, BCG and Bain.

Applied to MBB and worked as an intern, then full time at BCG. As a coach, my feedback will be constructive and will help you reach the next level. My style of coaching is more hands-on, experiential learning and I am big on giving useful feedback , examples, drills, and a customized casing library to help elevate your strengths and work on the areas you need improvement in. My clients have all expressed that they feel a significant improvement in their skills and that coaching has equipped them with all the tools and knowledge needed to crack a case.

I am one of the few community college students that have ever received an offer from MBB. Within a year of learning what consulting even is, I interned at ZS Associates, interviewed at 4 different top consulting firms, and received an offer from McKinsey. I spent about 2 years there as a business analyst before pivoting into product marketing, but I still help many students break into consulting. Some of my previous mentees have gone on to work for BCG, Bain, McKinsey, Mercer, Accenture, EY Parthenon... to name a few. My areas of expertise include the consulting bread and butter (casing, resume revision), but I also arm students with the skills they need to craft memorable stories during the behavioral interview.
