About Lance

I'm originally born in Ghana and spent most of my years growing up in Central Ohio. Growing up, I was normal. Went to a public high school, and went to a regular state school. I always knew I wanted to do more, but was unsure how to get to my dream destinations.I came to this journey without a roadmap. As an immigrant who didn’t attend a target school and had no family in business or consulting, I had to learn how to navigate a world that wasn’t built for people like me. Through persistence and mentorship, I broke into places that once felt out of reach, from the Schwarzman Scholars program at Tsinghua University and Dubai Business Associates to offers from McKinsey, BCG, EY-Parthenon, and BTS. Along the way, I also built ventures connecting Africa, Asia, and the U.S., and a venture fund to help support entrepreneurs at my university, proving that where you start doesn’t define where you can go. Today, I coach because I’ve lived the journey so many are on, trying to turn ambition into opportunity without the usual advantages. My goal is to make the path clearer, shorter, and more attainable for others who are ready to rise but just need someone who’s walked it before.
