Hi, I’m Julie — a Leadership & Life Empowerment Coach. The most important (and often hardest) thing to do is lead your own life—especially in times of stress, change, or uncertainty. I work with high-achieving professionals and entrepreneurs who are ready to do just that. With 20+ years as a senior executive and founder, an MBA from Yale, ICF accreditation, and over 350 coaching hours, I bring the perspective, presence, and challenge my clients need to create what’s next—with clarity and conviction.

I’ve always believed that your career and your life are not two separate stories. My journey has had its share of challenges, and it’s those very moments that shaped how I coach today. I started my career while managing a chronic illness, learning early on how to advocate for myself and set boundaries while still delivering at a high level. When I decided to pivot into consulting, I didn’t have the typical background so I worked part-time on pro bono projects, built a case for my employer to sponsor my MBA, and did everything I could to create opportunities where there weren’t any handed to me. Through all of this, I never lost sight of balance. I made time for movement where weight training and daily walks became my grounding rituals. I prioritized staying connected with my family and friends, even during the busiest times. That balance wasn’t a luxury, it was a necessity. And now, I coach others to find that same alignment: between ambition and well-being, between big goals and small wins. I am a certified ADHD coach with ongoing CPDs in Neurodiversity in Coaching, and an ICF-certified Executive Coach. I also work as a corporate speaker on Neurodiversity in the Workplace, supporting individuals and organisations to better understand and work with neurodivergent minds. Alongside coaching, I am a wellness practitioner specialising in stress management, nervous-system regulation, and mindfulness practices designed specifically for active, fast-moving minds. My work integrates evidence-based coaching with practical tools that support focus, emotional regulation, and sustainable performance. In addition to professional training, my work is informed by lived experience of ADHD and by parenting an AuDHD child, giving me a practical, real-world understanding of neurodivergent needs across life stages.

As a Nepal-born, Charlottesville-raised, first-generation limited-income graduate, I’ve spent much of my life navigating spaces where there wasn’t always a clear path forward. From adapting to new cultures, to overcoming financial and academic barriers, to finding belonging in environments where I was often the “first” or “only,” I’ve built resilience and perspective that I now bring into my coaching. These experiences allow me to connect deeply with clients who are facing transitions, uncertainty, or self-doubt, and to help them move forward with clarity and confidence. Beyond my own journey, I’ve supported hundreds of students and peers as a mentor, teacher, and program founder. Whether through leading volunteer initiatives, coaching students one-on-one, or building scholarship and community programs for first-generation and limited-income students, I’ve learned how to listen deeply, ask the right questions, and guide others toward meaningful change. My approach to life coaching is empathetic, practical, and empowering — focused on helping you not just reach your goals, but also redefine what’s possible for yourself.

I’ve built my career in high performance environments including strategy consulting at L.E.K. and private equity at The Riverside Company. I know what it takes to succeed in intense, demanding roles, and I also know how easy it is to lose your balance along the way. This coaching is for people who want to thrive in high-stakes careers without letting their job define them. I work with professionals who care about their performance but also want to stay connected to the things that matter, whether that’s creativity, community, health, or simply feeling like yourself outside of work. Alongside my career in private equity, I’ve stayed active as a performing musician and spend weekends outdoors. I help clients create space for the things they care about without sacrificing ambition or excellence. We’ll work on sustainable habits, mindset shifts, and practical strategies to build a career that fits into a life, not the other way around.
