8 weeks after I got into Harvard Business School, my mom was diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer, which as a 5 year survival rate of 43%. What we didn't know was that the cancer was really stage 3, which drops those rates down to a measly 11%. Needless to say, having my fancy job at Bain and getting into Harvard really didn't matter much to me anymore. My friends have always appreciate my joie de vivre, but it takes a lot to be happy and grateful when life punches you in the face. Fast forward -- I have had an excellent, though atypical, experience at HBS, made a difficult, but right for me, decision to go back to Bain and the corporate world after having done non-profits for the last several years, and am somehow thriving despite losing my mom in April 2024. I don't have all the answers, but I'm here to help pick you up, remind you of what really matters, and help your be your authetic, best self. Oh, yes -- I also love spreadsheets, have obsessively tracked habits and goals for the last decade (and stopped, thanks to therapy), and have tracked every single dollar I've spent in 2016. I'm here to be your big picture thinker, your cheerleader, your critic, and to get into the details with you - whatever you need most from me.
