Fun fact: I changed my major seven times in college! (Yep, really.) I wanted to explore all the career paths out there, so I totally get how overwhelming it can be to figure out the right direction. I’ve worked in everything from Career Services and Marketing to IT Project Management and Recruiting. My journey gave me insight into how to navigate diverse opportunities and build a career that aligns with your passions and goals. During my undergrad at Georgia State University, I was a Career and Business Communications Assistant for 3 years, I reviewed over 50 resumes each semester, giving tailored feedback on resumes, cover letters, and interview prep. Beyond that, I’ve coordinated career fairs, led workshops, and taught students how to boost their LinkedIn presence. My goal? I don't come from a typical cookie-cutter MBA pipeline. I went to a Tier-3 college in India that most people haven’t heard of. I worked in industries and companies where no one talked about Harvard, let alone planned for it. As an international applicant from an over-represented background, I knew the odds were stacked against me. I managed to get into Harvard Business School through intentional career choices and a clear story of impact. Along the way, I was incredibly lucky. People took time out of their lives to mentor me, review my applications, and believe in me when I didn’t fully believe in myself. I wouldn’t be where I am without them. Coaching on Leland is my way of giving that back. I do not "sell a dream" or maximize my profit. I do this because people once invested their time and resources in my success, and I want to do the same for others. If you don’t come from a flashy school, brand-name company, or “perfect” background, I get it. I’ve been there. And I want to help you see that your story, when told honestly and clearly, is enough.

With over 7 years of experience in tech companies like LinkedIn and Microsoft, I can help professionals navigate their career paths and achieve their goals. As a Senior Product Manager, I work on machine learning use cases for recommender systems, and my background in FP&A equips me with a unique perspective on career development. I've personally been promoted from Analyst to Senior Analyst to Manager, transitioned to Associate Product Manager to PM to now Senior PM, so I think I have a good perspective how to exceed expectations and achieve the next level. Prior to business school, I worked in management consulting at Deloitte for public and social sector clients. I went to Harvard Business School with the intention of transitioning into fintech. I managed to land a role in fintech as a Customer Success Manager within a month of graduating and want to pass on the things I did to successfully transition careers.
