I honestly almost did not write this review because I still cannot fully believe how things turned out... I came from a non target school with zero connections in finance. My peers told me straight up that breaking into investment banking was not realistic for me and for a while I believed them. There were weeks where I genuinely considered giving up and just settling for something else. Then I found Justin! What made the difference was that he never made me feel like my background was a problem to apologize for. He helped me figure out how to tell my story in a way that actually worked, got my technicals to a real level, and kept me accountable when my confidence was falling apart. I ended up getting an offer and I truly do not think that happens without him. If you are coming in without the typical pedigree and people in your life are telling you it cannot be done, please ignore them and work with Justin. He knows exactly what it takes and he genuinely cares about getting you there.

I met Samar in 2015 as an undergraduate at Brooklyn College during a summer research program at Stanford, where she was the program coordinator. At the time, I was still assessing whether pursuing a PhD was realistic for me. Samar offered thoughtful, candid feedback on my graduate school applications, helping me sharpen my personal statement, clarify my research interests, and strengthen my letters of recommendation. Her guidance gave me a clearer strategy and concrete steps I could take to improve. I was later accepted into Stanford’s PhD program in Bioengineering and received interviews at UCSD and NYU. What sets Samar apart is not only her experience but her character. She is empathetic, grounded, and deeply invested in the people she mentors. She has a way of making you feel both supported and capable, even while navigating high pressure academic environments. More than a decade later, we still keep in touch, which reflects the lasting impact she has had on my academic and professional path. I recommend her without hesitation to any student serious about pursuing ambitious goals.

Justin is the real deal. His experience and insight really helped me during my job search, and he was excellent in helping me prepare for both technical and behavioral interviews in consulting.

Adam and I connected at Microsoft while I was considering applying to MBA programs. Like Adam, I had a background in sales prior to business school. We discussed how unique the sales perspective is in top MBA programs, and how valuable it can be to classmates coming from more traditional consulting or finance pathways. Adam helped me identify what made my application stand out. He showed me how to draw upon my background to demonstrate the unique value I could bring to my future cohort. Ultimately, I was accepted to HBS, and I truly believe the strategy we crafted together was the key differentiator for the admissions committee.

Had the chance to work with George a few times and he’s one of the sharpest people I’ve worked with. Great at cutting through the noise and helping you focus on what actually matters. Highly recommend him as a coach and someone you can count on to prep for interviews.

David is passionate about coaching and it really shines through in his sessions. He assisted me with major life transitions, a business acquisition, and restructuring my company. He is able to see clearly some of the blind spots that kept me from visualizing my path forward. His sessions feel very personal and conversational yet extremely productive. When I get off the phone I always feel energized and ready to tackle my new priorities with confidence and ease.
