I hold an MBA and a Master of Engineering Management, have worked in corporate strategy, proposals, and program execution, and am actively pursuing a PhD in systems engineering. That combination allows me to evaluate doctoral paths with the same rigor applied to business decisions. I received my Ph.D. from the political science department at Columbia University. I did my undergraduate work at Stanford, earning a B.A. in international relations with honors in international security studies. I was Full Professor, Chair in Education, at the University of Nottingham. I was Full Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston). I was Vice President for Research and Evaluation at SSPI. I was also CEO at IRINSTITUTES.
