About Loubna
Most MBA applicants don’t get rejected because they lack experience. They get rejected because their application doesn’t make sense. The goals feel disconnected. The story is unclear. The essays try to fix things that should have been solved much earlier. That’s what I focus on. I’m a former Director of MBA Admissions at the University of Miami, where I made decisions on thousands of applications. I’ve seen exactly where strong candidates lose the committee, and it’s rarely where they think. I don’t approach this as editing or “polishing.” I work on the structure behind your application, your positioning, your decisions, and how everything connects. Because if that’s not clear, no amount of rewriting will fix it. Most of my clients come in with solid profiles and a lot of uncertainty about how to present them. Once that’s resolved, the rest of the process becomes significantly more straightforward and much more effective. If you’re looking for surface-level feedback, I’m probably not the right fit. If you want to understand how your application will actually be evaluated and what needs to change before you apply, then this is where we start.
Why do I coach?
Because most applicants are solving the wrong problem. They spend weeks rewriting essays, tweaking wording, and asking for feedback without ever fixing the underlying issue. And from an admissions perspective, that’s very obvious. During my time in admissions, the difference between acceptance and rejection often came down to one thing: clarity. Not how impressive the candidate was. Not how many activities they had. But whether the application made sense as a whole. That’s the part I enjoy working on. I coach because I like solving that problem taking a profile that feels scattered or uncertain and turning it into something clear, coherent, and credible. I’m not here to make your application “sound good.” I’m here to make sure it works.
