Coming from a non-target undergraduate institution and non-target work place I secured admission at MIT and Harvard and know how difficult it is to do so. I can help you tell your story and really stand out. I make things accessible and break them down into bite sized goals to help you put your best foot forward. While in my MBA program I worked at Bridgewater Associates and then had offers from Goldman Sachs TMT SF and Morgan Stanley Tech Investment banking groups. I also won the P.D. Soros Fellowship for New Americans (1% acceptance rate, $90,000) and the Zuckerman Fellowship (full ride at Harvard + Stanford), which helped fund a large part of my graduate degree.

I coach prospective MBA applicants who are interested in media, entertainment, and how those industries intersect with the future of tech. Before business school, I worked in management consulting at PwC, and after earning my MBA from Harvard Business School, I successfully pivoted into a role at the intersection of media, entertainment, and technology at Meta. At HBS, I served as President of the Entertainment & Media Club and as VP of Admissions for the African American Student Union, and in both roles I coached students through the MBA decision process and application strategy. My approach is objective and practical, focused on “why MBA” clarity, career strategy, narrative development, and essay review, and I also help with test study strategy and prioritization as someone who took multiple approaches to reach the results I needed and understands that process deeply.

I have extensive interviewing experience from throughout my professional career, including MBA admissions interviews, MBB consulting interviews, and behavioral interviews in a variety of forms. I have also given countless mock interviews and have experience giving very detailed, nuanced feedback and tips to help candidates find immediate growth opportunities. I graduated from Chicago Booth's Full Time MBA program in 2018. I was accepted into multiple top tier MBA schools, received significant scholarships to all schools ($275K in total, including the prestigious Siebel Scholarship), and achieved a 760 on the GMAT. While at Booth, I was a Booth Admissions Fellow and conducted over 30 admission interviews for the full time program, including for the Booth Scholars program (deferred admission for undergrad students). Additionally, once accepted, I advised colleagues and friends on the MBA process from school selection to applications to interviews.

As a current Harvard Business School student admitted through the 2+2 Deferred Enrollment Program, I have firsthand experience navigating both the deferred and traditional MBA admissions processes. I successfully gained admission to multiple top MBA programs, including my top choice HBS, and understand what it takes to craft a compelling application at every stage. Never in my life could I have dreamed about ending up in Stanford. But I did. I went to school in Egypt and didn't have role models who obtained advanced degrees, let alone from the top MBA program in the world. It is not impossible. After earning my MBA, I've spent over a decade as a management consultant at Bain & Company, repeat entrepreneur (co-founding two start-ups, including a Nigerian health-tech startup that scaled to $3M ARR and an educational NGO), and strategic leader at high-growth companies.
