Applying to business school can feel overwhelming, especially if you don’t have a perfect GMAT score, a built-in network, or a professional background to set you apart. I know, because I’ve been there. I grew up in a low-income community, worked my way into Deloitte, and earned admission to Harvard Business School without the kind of advantages many applicants rely on. I’ve also coached consultants and bankers who worried they’d blend into the crowd. What I’ve learned is that admissions committees aren’t just looking for high scores and polished resumes—they’re looking for people with a story. I help applicants surface the experiences, values, and strengths that make them memorable and compelling, even when they feel “average” on paper. From tackling essays and refining resumes to interview prep and recommender strategy, I’ll help you package your experiences into an authentic narrative that opens doors.

As an IESE Business School and Imperial College London alumni (scoring in Top 10% of my classes, respectively), my MBA coaching journey began in 2020 after my experience at Harvard Business School’s Summer Venture in Management program, where I coached ambitious undergrads through their Deferred MBA Programs, securing admits from: MIT Sloan, Yale SOM, HBS 2+2, and Moelis Advance Access for Wharton. Since 2020, I have cultivated an MBA/MiM/Master coaching toolkit that encompasses: goals-first, logic-first, culture-fit first sense of executive and corporate storytelling for the M7 universities in the United States and for the top executive programs in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and greater-Asia. Now, I coach a selective clientele all over the world, with recent success stories involving international admits to UChicago Booth (with 60% scholarship), most notably. Over the past two years, I have learned the inner workings of every top program, helping a roster of 15+ (and counting) clients gain admission into their dream schools.

Stanford MBA / Stanford + Harvard JD admitee. I got into these programs after years of GMAT/LSAT study and concerted research on every element of the application process. I was asked to interview for Stanford MBA on day 1 and I was interviewed by Mary Barra (CEO of General Motors), so I have intimidating interview prep experience. I was accepted without being waitlisted. Looking back, I had an abysmal starting point, with a very naive concept of what a sterling essay or LoR might look like. But I meticulously sought out how to craft each element masterfully. I also developed a study plan that got me to a 770 GMAT (51 on math after a middling score) and helped me ace the logic and nearly ace the logical reasoning sections of the LSAT. I had spent over a year studying for the GMAT only to have a middle-of-the-road math score. Then I diligently pieced together a plan by studying those who aced the math portion and bumped my score to 51 (effectively the max) on the GMAT math. I did something similar for the LSAT logic sections (3/4 of the test). My pitch: I will concisely help you get from mediocre to maximum on every element of your application and test-taking process for MBA and JD programs. I have helped multiple people, with a relatively small amount of time and tight timeframe, get into Yale's JD program and interview for Stanford's MBA program with guidance it took me years to distill. I'll do the same for you. Once at Stanford, I led an initiative among 100+ incoming Stanford GSB students to collaboratively prepare for advanced-level coursework, resulting in the highest number of students in advanced courses in the school's history. Multiple classmates went on to pursue highly technical careers in part because of it. I'll help you strategize for this too!

When I was applying to business schools, I had no direct experience of applying to US schools. However, my goal was to apply to internationally recognized business schools to ensure that I got the full benefit of taking 2 years out of my career to study full time. I had a small network of friends and mentors that had successfully been admitted into top-tier schools like HBS, Stanford GSB, MIT Sloan, and LBS. Without their guidance, I would not have successfully been admitted into my schools of choice. My MBA opened up opportunities for me to pivot from working in mining, to management consulting at BCG, and subsequently to senior strategy and operations roles at Capital One and Google. Now, I would love to pay it back - especially to folks with non-traditional backgrounds!
