Hi everyone! I’m Sydney, a 2024 MBA graduate from Harvard Business School. Having been admitted to several M7 programs, I know how to shape a story that stands out in a highly competitive process. In my own applications, I successfully explained both a past career pivot - from Investment Banking to the less traditional field of Investor Relations - and my plans to pivot again after HBS into the business of sports. That dual experience gives me a unique perspective on how to craft essays and interviews that clearly frame both where you’ve been and where you want to go. That belief informs my coaching style: you’ll quickly learn that I rarely—if ever—use the word “impossible.” Today, I’m a Moelis Advanced Access Fellow at The Wharton School and a future Associate at Boston Consulting Group, with a background spanning Cornell’s Dyson School, BCG, and PwC. I’ve successfully navigated the highly competitive MBA and consulting recruiting landscape, and I now help others do the same with confidence and strategy. I earned my MD/MBA from Stanford and have coached applicants for several years, helping candidates gain admission to selective medical schools and business schools, including Wharton and Stanford GSB. Before focusing on MBA admissions, I worked as a medical school admissions coach, which taught me how to quickly identify what makes an applicant stand out and how to communicate it clearly. My focus is on essays and narrative development--helping clients tell their story in a way that feels authentic, structured, and compelling to admissions committees.

I help candidates navigate the MBA journey end to end because I have personally gone through every stage of it and understand how tightly admissions decisions and post-MBA outcomes are linked. From GMAT strategy and school selection to regional trade-offs, cost-benefit analysis, scholarships, networking, interviews and final admit decisions, I have built and executed this process myself across US, European, and Indian business schools. I did not treat the MBA as a checkbox. I approached it as a strategic investment and designed my application and career plan accordingly. Since 2021, I have coached 18 candidates who have gone on to top-20 business schools. I work with clients to define their long-term career direction, shape a credible narrative and position them as candidates who know why they are pursuing an MBA and what they plan to do with it. This includes supporting professionals looking to change sector, function and region - A transition I successfully made myself during my MBA. Beyond admissions, I help clients prepare for post-MBA recruiting in consulting, leadership programs and big tech by aligning their MBA choices with realistic career outcomes.
