Adwoa’s MBA Qualifications
I've helped over five applicants in the last two years gain admission to Wharton with funding ranging from 25% to full-tuition scholarships, and have coached peers into top 10 MBA and master’s programs—many with significant scholarship offers. I specialize in helping applicants craft compelling, authentic stories that clearly show how an MBA aligns with their personal and professional goals. My expertise in storytelling was sharpened through years of securing nationally competitive fellowships, including the PPIA Junior Summer Institute at Princeton and the Harvard Kennedy School’s PPLC Fellowship. If you’re looking for a coach who will help you connect the dots between your experiences, aspirations, and the MBA journey, I’d love to support you.

About Adwoa
Hi, I’m Adwoa. I’m a first-generation college graduate and former U.S. government professional with five years of experience in international development oversight and foreign policy. My path has taken me from advising on global development strategy to earning my MBA—all while navigating the complexities of being a first-gen student. I know how overwhelming and high-stakes academic and career transitions can feel, especially when you're trying to break into competitive spaces without a roadmap. That’s why I’m passionate about helping others bridge the gap between potential and opportunity. If you’re applying to graduate school, navigating a career pivot, or looking for someone who’s been in your shoes, I’d be honored to support you on your journey!
Why do I coach?
I coach because I know what it’s like to pursue ambitious goals without a clear blueprint. As a first-generation student and professional, I often had to figure things out by piecing together advice, learning by observation, and relying on trial and error. Mentors and advocates made a huge difference in my journey, and I want to pay it forward by being that person for someone else. To me, coaching is about helping you uncover and articulate the strengths and uniqueness in your profile, and equipping you to confidently navigate your next opportunity. It’s about supporting you as you walk into rooms you might not have imagined yourself in, with clarity, strategy, and belief in your story.
