About Allyson

I didn’t start out knowing what I wanted to do—so I experimented, like many of the individuals I now coach. After college, I worked in the nonprofit world, then unexpectedly fell in love with the restaurant industry while working at Eleven Madison Park in New York. Eventually, I realized that hospitality was close—but not quite the right kind of service for me. That insight led me to earn a master’s in Clinical Social Work, where I stumbled into the field of career development and discovered a professional home. Over the past decade, I’ve supported students from engineering, public policy, and business backgrounds—at Dartmouth, USC, and NYU Stern. My coaching blends empathy with structure, helping clients clarify what they want and how to move toward it, with a special focus on work-life alignment. A second master’s in Applied Positive Psychology deepened my approach, leading to the creation of Circle, a group coaching platform that brings together personal growth and career strategy in a way that’s scalable, connected, and human. Whether I’m working 1:1 or in groups, my goal is the same: to help people feel less stuck, more seen, and more equipped to navigate what’s next.
