I've very recently been through the Deferred MBA application process myself (2023) and have experience thinking through the application and creating a compelling story. Applying to Deferred MBA programs is different than a typical MBA application because there are nuances for what admissions committees are looking for from a future admit. I have thought through my story and helped others think through there's, especially for those coming from a consulting background. In addition to application strategy and essay prep, I received interviews from 7 out of the 8 programs I applied to so I know what to expect from different interviews and how to prepare for them. When I started my MBA admissions journey, I decided I would figure out the admissions process myself. In hindsight, I wish I hadn't. Writing essays for each of my target schools and editing and re-editing my resume was an arduous process that would have been more efficient had I sought advice from someone who had been through the process. Ultimately, I landed admits from multiple M7 and top 15 MBA programs, and received my MBA from University of Michigan's Ross School of Business on full scholarship.
