Hi! I'm a Jones MBA graduate (Rice University) with admissions experience at Rice, a significant background in industrial equipment and private equity, and a special talent for writing and editing. I would love to join you and be a part of your application and admissions journey. I have been helping family, friends and friends-of-friends throughout different points of application processes for years and am excited to join Leland as a coach to help people that are willing to put in max effort throughout their own application process. I will be your teammate, providing structure, input and knowledge from my own experiences (editing hundreds of resume’s / essays / correspondence) as well as my own perspectives from being on the admissions side (conducting interviews / reviewing resumes / working with admissions). I am currently the Chief of Staff at Race Rock Group. Race Rock is a private holding company that makes control and non-control investments in private companies, industrial and commercial real estate, private equity funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds and other alternative investments. Before Race Rock, I was the Executive Assistant to the Chairman and CEO of Hoover Ferguson, now Hoover CS, a fully integrated provider of chemical tanks, cargo carrying units, catalyst bins, modular containers and other related rental products and services to the global energy, petrochemical and general industrial end markets. I've been coaching since 2013 and am excited to join Leland to expand the scope of my coaching capabilities. I have reviewed hundreds of resumes for editing purposes while also reading hundreds of resumes and applications on the admissions side. I have put my undergraduate degree in English to use on a daily basis with writing and editing creation of emails, press releases, letters, presentations, essays, write ups and more! As your admissions coach, I act as your teammate, providing structure to the application process and helping you craft materials that are authentic, professional, and concise. I work well with all candidates, but am especially a good fit for those who are willing to put in the work to fine tune and hone in on a broadly thought out approach. Let's do this!"
