I coach prospective MBA applicants who are interested in media, entertainment, and how those industries intersect with the future of tech. Before business school, I worked in management consulting at PwC, and after earning my MBA from Harvard Business School, I successfully pivoted into a role at the intersection of media, entertainment, and technology at Meta. At HBS, I served as President of the Entertainment & Media Club and as VP of Admissions for the African American Student Union, and in both roles I coached students through the MBA decision process and application strategy. My approach is objective and practical, focused on “why MBA” clarity, career strategy, narrative development, and essay review, and I also help with test study strategy and prioritization as someone who took multiple approaches to reach the results I needed and understands that process deeply.

I grew up in Russia and I had the privilege of studying at the Higher School of Economics, where I graduated with honors. My career began at EY - Transaction Advisory Services in Moscow, where I juggled a demanding full-time job with a full-time master’s program. In 2017, my work paid off with an international transfer to EY Boston. By 2022, I had realized a dream by joining the MBA program at Harvard Business School. Beyond my professional life, I’ve spent the last 15 years mentoring students in Moscow and Boston through UStrive, and engaging in social consulting projects with non-profits in Boston.

I just completed one of the most competitive MBA application cycles in history, earning admission to MIT Sloan (where I'll be attending), Columbia Business School, Kellogg, Booth, and Stern—with interviews at 6 of the 7 M7 schools I applied to. But what truly qualifies me as a coach isn't just my own success—it's my passion for teaching. I currently guest lecture at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and have spent years mentoring Accenture analysts, teaching underprivileged children in India, and leading pro-bono consulting projects. My family's legacy in education taught me that the best coaches don't just know the material; they genuinely care about their students' success. As a strategy consultant at Accenture for 4 years, I've honed the storytelling, analytical, and strategic thinking skills that make MBA applications successful. I've lived this process recently and intimately, tackling diverse essay formats and navigating competitive interview processes. I have extensive interviewing experience from throughout my professional career, including MBA admissions interviews, MBB consulting interviews, and behavioral interviews in a variety of forms. I have also given countless mock interviews and have experience giving very detailed, nuanced feedback and tips to help candidates find immediate growth opportunities. I graduated from Chicago Booth's Full Time MBA program in 2018. I was accepted into multiple top tier MBA schools, received significant scholarships to all schools ($275K in total, including the prestigious Siebel Scholarship), and achieved a 760 on the GMAT. While at Booth, I was a Booth Admissions Fellow and conducted over 30 admission interviews for the full time program, including for the Booth Scholars program (deferred admission for undergrad students). Additionally, once accepted, I advised colleagues and friends on the MBA process from school selection to applications to interviews.
