During my application process, I only considered 2 part-time programs (Booth & Kellogg) and was able to attain admission to both. In addition, I TA'd Negotiations courses at Booth so I have significant experience negotiating offers and scholarships. So far, I've informally coached a handful of undergraduates as they navigate the journey I went through not too long ago to help them secure their dream schools. I am a great MBA coach because of the unique process and framework I developed and followed to obtain admission to multiple top 10 MBA programs. I come from a low-income first generation immigrant and college student background. I have experienced first hand what it's like to undergo the application process as an underdog by multiple measures and emerge victorious. I know how to navigate the common pitfalls and how to build a competitive application that punches above its weight. In addition, I have a passion for passing on the torch to the next generation and pulling folks up as I climb. In my free time I coach/mentor multiple students and professionals that share my background and have repeatedly heard from them that my advice, clear communication, and encouragement was instrumental in helping them achieve their academic and career goals. For 10 years, the Harvard Business School MBA felt like a distant dream. I didn’t come from a target school, a brand-name firm, or a background admissions committees are used to saying “yes” to. No one from my undergrad, master’s, or organization had ever gone to HBS. Coming from an over-represented pool made it even harder. But I still got in. I did it by understanding what elite MBA programs actually look for and by crafting a story that stood out in a sea of similar profiles. Today, I coach applicants from non-traditional and over-represented backgrounds to do the same. I’ve walked this path myself. I’ll help you walk it smarter.

After completing my degree in Accounting from the University of Utah, I quickly felt bored and like a cog in a massive corporate machine. I had a lifelong goal of getting an MBA, but quickly learned there is an overwhelming amount of routes to take for a graduate degree. Do I quit my job and go for a top full-time MBA program? Do I keep working and get into an online or part-time program that may take several years? I knew I wanted to work in finance sho should I pursue a Master's of Finance instead? Ultimately, I decided to keep working, got admitted to the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and completed the part-time program in 13 months without ever taking the GMAT. I love to coach people through this overwhelming process and help them decide what is best for them as there are so many options to accomplish the end goal. It is possible to complete an MBA quickly without leaving your job as I can attest.

I have extensive interviewing experience from throughout my professional career, including MBA admissions interviews, MBB consulting interviews, and behavioral interviews in a variety of forms. I have also given countless mock interviews and have experience giving very detailed, nuanced feedback and tips to help candidates find immediate growth opportunities. I graduated from Chicago Booth's Full Time MBA program in 2018. I was accepted into multiple top tier MBA schools, received significant scholarships to all schools ($275K in total, including the prestigious Siebel Scholarship), and achieved a 760 on the GMAT. While at Booth, I was a Booth Admissions Fellow and conducted over 30 admission interviews for the full time program, including for the Booth Scholars program (deferred admission for undergrad students). Additionally, once accepted, I advised colleagues and friends on the MBA process from school selection to applications to interviews.

I am an MBA student at the Wharton School with a concentration in Health Care Management, and I understand firsthand how competitive MBA and dual-degree admissions have become. Through my own application process, I developed a clear strategy for positioning my experiences, articulating leadership and impact, and crafting a cohesive narrative that connects past achievements with future goals. I am particularly familiar with applicants who are coming from technical, clinical, or research backgrounds and need to translate their work into the language of business, leadership, and strategy that MBA admissions committees value. Beyond admissions, my work spans healthcare innovation, entrepreneurship, and data-driven research, including building startup concepts, leading projects in health systems and AI, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. These experiences have strengthened my ability to help applicants refine resumes, essays, and career goals so they present a compelling, authentic story.
