I wasn’t the typical profile for Carnegie Mellon University’s undergraduate class. With a 3.5 GPA and limited extracurricular involvement because I was supporting my mother at home, I assumed top schools were out of reach. What I underestimated was the power of a compelling narrative. Despite my lower GPA, I became a QuestBridge Scholar, earned a full ride to College of William & Mary and significant scholarships from University of Notre Dame and University of Virginia, and was admitted as a Science and Humanities Scholar at Carnegie Mellon University. Since then, I've helped students of different backgrounds get into their dream schools by crafting an application that highlights their strengths and mitigates their weaknesses. I graduated from Harvard with the John Harvard Scholarship (top 5% GPA), a major in Integrative Biology, and a minor in Computer Science. I have over 6 years of experience working as a full-time tutor for the ACT, SAT, and SSAT. I have also worked as a college essay consultant for the past two years. I have worked with over ten clients by giving interviews and assisting with college essays. Out of the five clients I worked with during this admissions cycle, four received interviews at Harvard. On average, my students have enjoyed improvements of anywhere between 150-250 points on the SAT. I know how to teach the Writing sections so that you will receive a perfect score. Two of my students have increased their scores from 600-800 in this section, and most of my students end my program scoring perfectly on the writing section especially. My ACT tutoring prep follows similar statistics. In the two tutoring companies I have worked for in the past, I was promoted to the highest tutoring status. I tutor full-time, and I am ready to help you reach the score of your dreams.

My career began at Hunter College High School in NYC, where I helped students achieve their dreams of attending top-tier universities. I was instrumental in founding the college counseling program at Léman Manhattan Preparatory School, leading to exceptional college acceptances. My international experience includes leading the college counseling department at elite international schools in Tokyo (IB) and Shanghai (IB/AP), where I supported students from diverse backgrounds while exploring the world. As an immigrant to the US educated entirely in the public education system, I independently navigated the application and admissions processes for American undergraduate programs (without any coaching!) I applied to twenty universities (Public & Private) and succeeded in being admitted nearly everywhere I applied, including several Ivy League colleges like Brown, Dartmouth, Yale, as well as Stanford. While I was applying to colleges, I was also applying to many scholarships offered by universities and external scholarships, before ultimately deciding to attend Vanderbilt University, where I received a full merit scholarship. During my time at Vanderbilt, I applied to and received various additional scholarships to fund study abroad and international work experiences, including a FLAS fellowship and the Fulbright program (which I declined due to an offer to join the UN).
