During my senior year, I applied to over two dozen colleges and ended up getting over 20 offers of acceptance, plus scholarship offers that totaled more than a million dollars across all schools, including 8 full rides. But here's the thing: I'm a first-generation, lower-income student who had to stumble through the entire process on my own. No college counselor was holding my hand and neither of my parent had been through it before. I learned by trial and error, made plenty of mistakes, and figured out what worked through sheer determination. Now, I help students so they don't have to go through what I did. Whether you need help building a smart college list, deciding how many schools to apply to, figuring out which fellowships to apply to and how, crafting essays that actually stand out, or prepping for the SAT or ACT, I've been there. I know what admissions committees are looking for because I cracked the code myself, and I know how overwhelming it can feel when you're doing it alone. My goal is simple: give my clients the guidance I wish I'd had. I want to turn this process from stressful and confusing into something strategic and manageable.
