I have extensive experience in writing and education, and therefore bring a unique perspective to college admissions coaching. As a current Fulbright Scholar, I have spent significant time crafting application essays for fellowships, and learning how to make these essays competitive. My time in Taiwan through Fulbright has also taught me to work on English writing with people from a wide range of backgrounds including internationally. As former Presidential Writer at The White House, I honed my skills in crafting precise and impactful narratives on extremely tight deadlines in a high pressure environment. My work as a tutor at SpiderSmart learning centers has equipped me with the tools to guide high schoolers through the intricacies of the application process, making sure that they put their stories, and their best foot forward. Additionally, my leadership roles in political campaigns have helped hone my ability to mentor and manage, which I apply to support students in achieving their academic goals. As a graduate of the University of Chicago, I also bring my own experience navigating the competitive college admissions process. As a current J.D. candidate at Columbia Law School and a Hamilton College alum, I bring a strong academic background and a passion for helping students navigate the college admissions process. As an undergraduate, I was involved in several leadership positions and served on the selection committee for the College Honor Court as it's chair, where I also worked closely with high-level administrators. In my junior year, I was admitted early to Columbia Law School under the AILE program, and I am well versed in all elements of the application and admissions process. I worked directly with 50 scholars from under-resourced backgrounds to support their college application process through identifying goals, advising scholars through the application and financial aid process, discussing needs and wants in their institutions, and distilling a list of institutions that provide a good “fit” to which they should apply. 98% of students were admitted to a “most competitive college” as identified by Barron’s. 69% were admitted to at least one Ivy League institution, MIT, or Stanford.

I am a graduate of Harvard Business School (MBA) and Princeton University, and closely worked with the admissions team on crafting an overall admissions strategy. I served as the Co-Chief Admissions Ambassador at HBS, and was involved in meeting with applicants and answering questions. I also assisted with putting together The Harbus' admissions guide, which has a collection of essays from successful applicants. I have also given tours at the School of Engineering at Princeton. I'm happy to assist with business school or college applications and strategies to maximize your admission chances.
