With six years of hands-on experience as a BYU admissions application reader and admissions counselor, I bring insider knowledge of what truly makes an application great. I've evaluated hundreds of applications, so I’ve seen firsthand what works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to essays, activities, and overall presentation. I know this process can feel overwhelming, but I'm here to help students tell their story in a way that’s honest, impressive, and true to who they are!

I was accepted into two Ivy League universities (Yale and Harvard) as well as other top-tier colleges. I also graduated as a salutatorian at my high school out of a class of 700+ students. I love the process of writing and tailoring each student's unique life experiences and personality to the style of questions asked in college applications.

I have experience studying at five universities in 4 European countries during my BA. My alma mater is Bard College Berlin, which has offered me full university funding. Therefore, I am well-acquainted with the college admission procedures.

With over two decades of experience in higher education admissions and enrollment management, I bring a deep understanding of the undergraduate admissions landscape. As a first-generation graduate student and the only member of my family to earn a doctorate, I’m especially attuned to the challenges faced by students who are navigating this process without prior guidance or support. I combine strategic insight with empathetic, individualized coaching—helping students and families reduce stress, stay organized, and move forward with purpose. I'm Bryan, a University of Pennsylvania graduate with a double major in International Relations and Latin American & Latino Studies. As a first-generation Latino college graduate, I learned to navigate the college admissions process by myself and am passionate about helping others through this intimidating process. I have guided many mentees and peers through the college admissions process through reviewing college essays, giving guidance on test prep time management, crafting narrative as a prospective applicant, developing leadership skills, and preparing for admissions interviews. These students have been accepted to an array of colleges including UPenn, Stanford, Harvard, Drexel, and Claremont McKenna. As a coach, I believe a holistic approach across leadership skills, academic excellence, and character are critical to standing out in the competitive college admissions process. I take the time to understand where the student is in their admissions process to develop a baseline and collaborate to understand pain points in the process and curate a plan to best prepare for the college admissions process. After preparation I am here to assist as developments come up, providing guidance on selecting a school, how to navigate financial packages, and other stressful decisions in the process. The way we are taught to write in school is wrong. You know the style—boring, wordy, and utterly forgettable! It takes hours to write, and the end product is gray wallpaper, which lacks story and blends in to every other essay. That won't get you where you want to go...unless as an academic you're publishing in a scientific journal that no one will ever read. I am a highly trained writer. I graduated in PR/Journalism, was named #1 senior in Journalism, and was a writer for 2 years for PR and Marketing departments through school. My writing helped me secure scholarships, internships, and a job for one of the largest PR agencies in the world. I thought I knew how to write. I was wrong. Years later, I was Global Brand Manager at P&G leading a $2B brand. In this $85B company, multi-million dollar decisions were made based on written one-pagers. Clear and compelling writing was vital. They taught, "Writing = Thinking. If you can't write clearly, you haven't thought clearly." I learned how to write for impact and do it in a fraction of the time. I graduated from Princeton University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and certificate in American Studies.
