As a Stanford student who was also admitted to Harvard, Yale, and Wharton (to name a few), I’ve experienced firsthand what it takes to stand out in the highly competitive college admissions process. My work as a mentor with the Summer Science Program and as a tutor with Curious Cardinals has honed my ability to help students identify and communicate their authentic stories with confidence. As a a BYU alum, a mom of four BYU students and an experienced editor with over 10 years of experience working on executive-level writing, I’ve developed a unique passion for helping students tell their stories well. Since 2017, I’ve coached dozens of applicants—many of them nervous, hopeful high school seniors—through the BYU admissions process, specializing in helping them craft essays that are thoughtful, genuine, and uniquely theirs. Welcome to my profile! I'm a pre-medical student, tutor, nutritionist, and entrepreneur with a passion for helping students succeed. With over 9 years of experience as the Founder and Head Tutor at Harvard Tutors, I have coached 400+ students to achieve their college admissions goals. As a high school student, I received admission offers from all of the Ivy League colleges I applied to (Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Columbia, U Penn). I graduated from Harvard College with a BA in English in 2014. I'm proud to say that my students themselves have received offers from all of the Ivy League colleges + MIT and Stanford, and won over $35k in scholarships! As an English concentrator at Harvard, I specialized in creative writing (fiction & poetry) and took part in highly competitive writing seminars with esteemed writers such as Jamaica Kincaid, Jorie Graham, Bret Johnston, and Joshua Bell.
