A lot of people will tell you that college admissions is solely a numbers game. That's a lie - and I'm the proof. I came from a working-class background and navigated college admissions without the help of guidance counselors and got into elite colleges. I've helped many soon-to-be-college grads do the same. Here's the insight: what colleges want to know is whether or not you are smart, thoughtful, ambitious, and if you'll fit into their school's mold. Those usually sound like: High GPA, High LSAT, and a ton of extracurricular activities that pad your college resume. But not everybody has those items -- and not everyone needs them to get into great schools. That’s where I come in. I specialize in helping students identify the 'hidden assets' in their background: the grit, the unique perspective, and the authentic voice that standardized tests simply can’t capture. After graduating with both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, working for UNC Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and working as a College Admissions Consultant, I am well-versed in the world of college admissions. I have additionally lived in four different countries and am very comfortable advising international students, as well as US students that hope to go to university abroad, specifically in the UK.
