For more than 15 years, I have worked in higher education and admissions, including as an Associate Director of Admission at the University of Southern California, where I reviewed thousands of applications and supported students and families through some of the most pivotal moments of their lives. I offer a rare, holistic approach that goes beyond strategy. That means taking the time to truly understand who you are — academically, professionally, and personally — so the support I offer is specific to your path and helps you move forward with confidence and clarity. My work is designed for students who: 🎓 Feel pressure to appear perfect and want encouragement to show who they really are — not a curated version of themselves 🌱 Are navigating self-doubt, unconventional paths, or decisions that feel too big to carry alone 📚 Are highly motivated but struggle to articulate their impact beyond grades and a list of activities 💛 Want thoughtful, grounded guidance — not a checklist, but a real process that honors both their goals and their wellbeing The strongest applications aren’t the most accomplished or credentialed — they’re real. They include something beyond requirements. A passion project. An idea. Something you chose to build or explore. That’s what sets you apart. And that’s what I’ll help you build. An application that’s not just impressive, but genuine. Recent student acceptances include: Cornell, UC Berkeley, Northeastern, Boston University, UIUC, Chapman University, Loyola Marymount University, University of San Diego, Texas A&M, Rutgers University, University of Michigan Ann Arbor

About Sarah
For more than 15 years, I have worked in undergraduate and graduate admissions — first as an Associate Director of Admission at the USC Price School of Public Policy, where I reviewed thousands of applications and guided students through pivotal transitions, and for the past three years as an independent consultant doing the same work in a deeper, more personalized way. I bring a rare, whole-person approach to this work. I take the time to truly understand who you are. Every recommendation, every conversation, and every piece of feedback is specific to you. A strong application comes down to clarity, knowing where you’re going, telling a story that connects your experience to your goals, and writing in a voice that feels honest and intentional. That’s what I’ll help you create.
Why do I coach?
As a first-generation college and graduate student, I navigated the educational process mostly on my own with a lot of uncertainty and without clear direction. I didn't have a roadmap. However, everything changed when I found mentors who truly saw me and helped me find my own path. They helped me get clear on my direction, believe in myself, and find the right words to express it — things I didn’t know I was missing until someone finally took the time to ask the right questions. That experience is the foundation of everything I do now. I coach because I enjoy helping students find clarity and direction in a process that often feels overwhelming. I believe strong outcomes matter, and feeling empowered throughout the process matters just as much.
