I'll be transparent: I was not the high school kid with a 4.0 GPA or a 36 on the ACT. While my grades were strong, they were far from perfect. Because I knew there were students with better academics than me, I mastered the college essay process "to a t." I only applied to BYU (would not recommend), and was delighted to be admitted with a full scholarship! I know what BYU is looking for when they choose which students to admit and which ones to deny. I also know from personal experience how to get admitted in front of a student with more impressive grades and credentials. Let me show you how!

I bring an international perspective to college coaching, having lived and studied in multiple countries and navigated different application systems firsthand. I completed my undergraduate studies at Columbia University in the US and earned my master’s degree from Sciences Po Paris, which gives me a deep understanding of both American and European admissions processes. Over the years, I’ve coached students applying to undergraduate and master’s programs, helping them position themselves strategically while staying true to who they are. While I was preparing for my university applications, I recognized that one of the most important components of the application is the essay and having a hook in extracurricular activities. It's not the GPA/SAT score like many believe (which in actuality is only a checkbox for the admissions committee). I was able to fully understand how the admissions committee evaluates an application after reading my Stanford application and the admission committee comments on there. Beyond the basics of the application from helping with SAT prep and extracurricular planning, I will focus my time on being able to translate your extracurricular activities into a meaningful essay and supplementals.

As a current junior at NYU Stern School of Business, I have firsthand experience navigating the college admissions process and understand what it takes to stand out. My diverse internship experiences have equipped me with a unique perspective on building a compelling application. I have been actively involved in various student organizations, such as the Stern Political Economy Exchange, which has honed my leadership and mentorship skills. I’m qualified to guide students through the college admissions process because I’ve been through it at the highest levels of success myself. I earned admission to Brown University with a likely letter, which reflects not only strong academics but also a well-rounded application that stood out among a competitive pool. In addition, I was awarded the Banneker/Key Scholarship at the University of Maryland — the school’s most prestigious full-ride merit scholarship given to only a small number of top applicants. On top of that, I received the Gates Millennium Scholarship, a nationally competitive and prestigious award that recognizes outstanding leadership, academic excellence, and community service.
