I'm Dr. Erica, an admissions essay coach and Fulbright Scholar. My clients have gained acceptance to some of the most selective undergraduate institutions in the country, including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, UPenn, Cornell, Brown, Dartmouth, Columbia, UChicago, Georgetown, Northwestern, and UMichigan. I've also guided students to win over $1.5 million in scholarships and awards. I earned my doctorate from UNC-Chapel Hill as a member of the Royster Society of Fellows (the university's most selective doctoral fellowship), and have held faculty appointments at UNC-Chapel Hill and UNC School of the Arts. I also serve as an Essay Specialist with College Essay Guy, an industry leader in college admissions coaching. I work with students on: • Common App, Coalition, and QuestBridge: personal statement, activities list, and supplemental essays • UC PIQs • Supplemental essay strategy: making sure you have enough strong ideas to fuel every essay (not just your personal statement!) • Project management: building a structured, organized approach to applications My core beliefs: Excellence and encouragement aren't in conflict. I was accepted to all schools that I applied to including 5 Ivy League schools (100% acceptance rate)

I graduated from Harvard with the John Harvard Scholarship (top 5% GPA), a major in Integrative Biology, and a minor in Computer Science. I have over 6 years of experience working as a full-time tutor for the ACT, SAT, and SSAT. I have also worked as a college essay consultant for the past two years. I have worked with over ten clients by giving interviews and assisting with college essays. Out of the five clients I worked with during this admissions cycle, four received interviews at Harvard. On average, my students have enjoyed improvements of anywhere between 150-250 points on the SAT. I know how to teach the Writing sections so that you will receive a perfect score. Two of my students have increased their scores from 600-800 in this section, and most of my students end my program scoring perfectly on the writing section especially. My ACT tutoring prep follows similar statistics. In the two tutoring companies I have worked for in the past, I was promoted to the highest tutoring status. I tutor full-time, and I am ready to help you reach the score of your dreams.
