With 35 years of math coaching experience including 31 years as the Founder and CEO of MATH 1-2-3, I have specialized in private mathematics tutoring and test prep, helping students from elementary through college levels excel in their academic pursuits. My background includes teaching high school mathematics, including Algebra, Geometry, and Precalculus, at prestigious institutions such as The Leffell School and Léman Manhattan Preparatory School. I hold a Master’s Degree in Applied Statistics and Decision-Making from Gabelli School of Business, with a concentration in Quantitative Finance, and a dual degree in Math and Economics from Vanderbilt University. My passion for education and personalized coaching has empowered countless students to achieve their college admission goals. Revant graduated with honors from Dartmouth College, where he double majored in Economics and Japanese. Coming from a public high school in Texas—far from the traditional Ivy League feeder pipeline—he understands firsthand the challenges and opportunities faced by students from non-target backgrounds in the admissions process. His experience navigating this path has equipped him with a clear understanding of what makes an application stand out, particularly for students without access to elite college counseling. Revant works with mentees to craft authentic, well-structured narratives that highlight both academic strengths and personal growth, while offering practical, honest feedback at every stage of the process. His approach is grounded in empathy, strategic thinking, and a belief that students can achieve exceptional outcomes without having to fit a narrow mold.

I’m a Georgetown graduate and admissions interviewer with deep experience helping students communicate their strengths clearly and confidently. I’ve tutored students extensively in writing, guiding them through drafting, revising, and shaping personal statements that reflect their unique story. I bring structure to the admissions process—essay guidance, narrative positioning, and interview preparation—so students feel supported and families feel confident that every part of the application is thoughtfully prepared.

Neither of my parents attended college in the United States nor knew what the application process entailed. I know that for so many students and their families, navigating the application process feels like trying to look into a black box. But now, on the other side, I know it's not a scary unknown. The strongest applications are the ones that convey your true self -- your hobbies, your quirks, your passions, and your dreams. That sounds simple, but it's much, much harder than trying to just write down what you *think* application committees want to read. I've spent years figuring out my own story and finding the most compelling way to write about it for my college application to Harvard and my graduate applications to Yale Law School and Oxford. I'm eager to help you find your story and feel confident in it.

As a homeschooled veteran, I specialize in guiding homeschoolers and non-traditional students through personalized education planning, extracurricular activities, and college admissions. I help families navigate the complexities of crafting a tailored academic path that highlights each student’s unique strengths, passions, and aspirations. My individualized approach ensures that students not only excel academically and beyond but also stand out in the competitive college admissions process. I believe in going to school without going into debt—and I’ve done it myself. I earned full-ride offers to Case Western Reserve, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and the Illinois Institute of Technology, along with 34 outside scholarships when I applied to college. I also attended graduate school at Parsons with a full scholarship. Since then, I’ve helped students gain admission to competitive undergraduate and graduate programs, including Harvard, The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and top engineering and tech schools. Erika was born and raised in Washington Heights, New York City. She currently serves as an education consultant to school districts across the United States to ensure all high school students have access to the most rigorous coursework. She attended Dartmouth College for her undergraduate studies where she studied Sociology, African American Studies, Human Development and Education. She completed a teaching residency with the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education while teaching World Geography and History at an all-boys school in Baltimore. She has independently assisted students through the college application process for the past seven years. “I believe every person has a riveting and unique story to tell. My job as a college coach is to find that story alongside students who may need an extra push to find the courage and verbiage to do so. I enjoy the early stages of ideation the most because I am consciously reminded of how promising our future is given students’ life stories. The reflection students are able to have through this process reveal bits of themselves they may have never taken note of before, and to me that is the beauty of storytelling and finding yourself.”

I graduated from Harvard with the John Harvard Scholarship (top 5% GPA), a major in Integrative Biology, and a minor in Computer Science. I have over 6 years of experience working as a full-time tutor for the ACT, SAT, and SSAT. I have also worked as a college essay consultant for the past two years. I have worked with over ten clients by giving interviews and assisting with college essays. Out of the five clients I worked with during this admissions cycle, four received interviews at Harvard. On average, my students have enjoyed improvements of anywhere between 150-250 points on the SAT. I know how to teach the Writing sections so that you will receive a perfect score. Two of my students have increased their scores from 600-800 in this section, and most of my students end my program scoring perfectly on the writing section especially. My ACT tutoring prep follows similar statistics. In the two tutoring companies I have worked for in the past, I was promoted to the highest tutoring status. I tutor full-time, and I am ready to help you reach the score of your dreams.
