I'm an investor with 10 years of experience across hedge funds, growth equity and investment banking. I spent the last 8 years in the hedge fund world with roles at Citadel and Echo Street (~$15bn long short and long only manager) focusing on both public equities and private growth equity investments. I have spent time in both long-duration strategies with a focus on business quality and shorter-duration modelling-intensive strategies. I started my career at Goldman Sachs in Investment Banking. I graduated first class honors from Queen's University and held multiple internships throughout college in finance including at Goldman Sachs in my junior summer where I received a full time offer. I have 15 years of experience in the hedge fund industry, including as an analyst and portfolio manager at some of the biggest hedge funds and family offices in the world. Over time my coverage has included cyclicals (industrials and energy), technology, consumer, healthcare, and event-driven strategies. I have extensive experience in idea generation, thesis development, and writing investment memos. I am also an experienced portfolio and risk manager, and can explain and demonstrate modern portfolio management and factor analysis tools. I manage a hedge fund I founded with a partner in 2020 focused on mispriced securities of all kinds in North America and Europe. I've sat on a public company board and help manage an educational endowment. Previously, I was a Principal at Taconic Capital Advisors, where I worked for almost 20 years and managed investments including convertible securities, distressed credit, special situations and long-short equities. I managed our London office and European business for 8 years and launched and managed public and private investments in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and Chile. My first full-time job was as an investment banking analyst at JP Morgan after I graduated from Harvard.

Over the course of my 18-year hedge fund career, I have had the opportunity to mentor and develop several high potential associates, analysts, and managers. This included detailed development work and training in fundamental analysis to performance coaching oriented toward decision making. Alongside these "hard skills," I helped my mentees navigate the complex and rapidly-evolving hedge fund landscape as they launched new ventures, negotiated salaries, and succeeded within firms with varying cultures. My experience spans single manager funds, multi-manager funds, and new launches, and I have worked with team mates at all experience levels: new college graduates, investment banking analysts, and private equity associates who were breaking into the industry to 20-year veterans what were leveling-up to managerial roles. I am proud to say that I maintain a close mentorship relationship with all of the investors who worked on my team, and career development is the most fulfilling dimension of my career. They have all gone on to be very successful in the industry as well!
