About Gregory

I was born and raised in La Jolla, CA. I attended Stanford University, where I majored in mathematics and economics, played on the men's varsity tennis team, and graduated with a 4.01 GPA, the highest GPA among student-athletes in my class year. To gain a broader international perspective and explore my finance passions more deeply, I got a Master's in Finance and Private Equity at the London School of Economics. Wanting to keep my options open early in my career, I worked out of school as a business analyst at McKinsey & Company, though I quickly realized that I wanted to pivot to high finance. I started in high finance as a private equity associate at Bain Capital, which gave me a great foundation in the space. However, I recognized that my ultimate calling in high finance was in public markets and secured a role as an investment analyst at Meritage Group, a multi-billion dollar family office where I worked for nearly a decade. While I very much enjoyed my tenure at Meritage Group, I decided that I wanted to pivot to a different type of role and be part of a more entrepreneurial investment fund, so I joined Reade Street, which is now a >$1 billion long-only investment fund. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, swimming, hiking, reading, and watching sports.
