I did not end up choosing management consulting as a career, but the guidance and mentorship Joanna provided as a leader of our college business group was truly so meaningful and outstanding. She is always enthusiastic about helping you get to be where you need to be, no matter what that is. For example, I am now graduating medical school and wouldn’t be here without her letter/reference from my time working with her in our college business council. Her organized management and leadership skills guide you and keep you on track, and she is proactive as a mentor should be. Overall she is so kind, fun and also open to providing direct advice when needed. You can feel so comfortable in sharing your concerns. There is nobody else I would recommend more from my time at Notre Dame.

Braden provides the absolute best advice for building a strong resume and performing well in job interviews. He offers great one-on-one time for practicing interview skills and provides constructive, useful, and specific feedback. No matter what field you plan on going into, his insight and help will yield great results. For example, I utilized his expertise for my medical school application and my medical school interviews, a field completely different from his normal line of work, and found his guidance particularly useful in landing me a spot at my dream medical school. He provided me with that “it” factor that drew several compliments during interviews for medical school admission. I had already done some case prep before working with Joanna so I thought I was pretty solid, but she found things to work on that no one else had flagged. She’s very encouraging but also very direct — she will tell you exactly what you need to fix and not sugarcoat it. I really needed that. We did a lot of drill sessions and she pushed me hard but in a way that felt supportive. Ended up getting offers from two MBB firms lol!
