From our first session she set up a really clear structure and plan for what we'd work on, but she was also super flexible when things came up or my priorities shifted. What I appreciated most was her honest feedback. She never sugarcoated things, but she always delivered it in a way that felt encouraging and gave me something concrete to work on. Neal is INCREDIBLE! If you have an interview for MBA, you must take his help. He helped me prepare for my deferred MBA interview, and not only did he ask me similar insightful, pointed questions to what I was asked in my interview, he gave me comprehensive feedback following the format used by interviews. I recently applied for PhD programs during the 2025-26 cycle, aiming to study within the biosciences. I'll be attending the University of Toronto in Fall 2026, pursuing a PhD in Physiology with a specialization in Neuroscience. Anyone familiar with the current landscape of PhD applications, particularly in the sciences, would openly admit that this cycle was an uphill battle. My sibling is applying to med schools in the future, and I urged them to find a counselor to help, in hopes they find one anywhere near as good. Even another friend of mine who applied to PhD programs this cycle was thankful to Debby because of how the knowledge I acquired from her helped me in supporting them.
