Hagen took the time to really get to know me before starting the session and was happy to answer all of my questions, even when it meant going slightly over time. He is highly knowledgeable not only about case interviews but also about the consulting industry more broadly. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about helping his coachees succeed, not only on a professional level, but also on a personal one.

Working with Kira has been extremely pivotal to gaining the momentum I need to succeed in my career. Her coaching is effective across all aspects--beginning with helping you gain clarity on your priorities and developing a crystal clear, step-by-step strategy that can be applied thoroughly throughout the job search. Helping whittle down to a shortlist of key roles to target, advising on how to strengthen resumes and cover letters, coming up with the best networking workflow, guiding rehearsal of STAR stories to utilize in interviews, negotiating potential offers--the list continues, as Kira has a very wide breadth of knowledge, expertise, practice, and experience that she uses to provide wise and measured suggestions. Also, a huge thing I appreciate about Kira's coaching is that she meets you right where you are at and empowers you in your decision-making. I was at a point where it was difficult for me to feel confidence in my own career journey, and her continuous encouragement, honest feedback, and ability to give a grounded and balanced read on every situation really took my own understanding of my skills and value in the workplace to the next level. Her advice has rung true for me at every step of orchestrating a career pivot and coming up with the best path forward from even the most seemingly thorny spots. And taking her advice has led me to great results. She is an excellent coach and I highly recommend working with her for both short and longer term needs!

Nels blew my expectations. We practically had like two session over text just getting me ready for the coaching session. I was able to get so much done before we even started. I left feeling super confident and with a detailed plan about how I was gonna recruit. We are still in contact and he is sending me even more resources and help. I also wanna note that he was understanding to my situation. Going into the call I felt a little insecure about how good my resume and other stuff looked. Really enjoyed the sessions with Damian, I liked that even from the first 15 minutes we were able to get straight to the main things I was looking to learn and improve on within the VC space, I was able to get great feedback on a memo I was working through. Overall, I learned a lot and found the insights/advice very helpful for me.

As an MBB alum, I reached out to Katie (a former consultant) to navigate a transition from consulting into corporate strategy. From our very first call, Katie brought such an excited and kind energy that it was impossible not to shift from apprehension toward the job search process to excitement about which job out there would most resonate with me from a cultural and mission standpoint. Her faith in, and optimism for, me was second only to her seamless translation of the job search process into a roadmap of different focus areas (e.g. job filtration by criterion, networking by well-crafted message reachouts, and casing by honing in on conceptual areas to develop and harness my natural strengths). By the time interviews rolled around, I had support inside the organization with which I was interviewing, an earnest excitement for the work I would do, and confidence in my ability to prove my mettle as a caser.
