Welcome to my profile! With a strong foundation in mathematics and statistics, I hold a MS from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and will hold a PhD later this year. As a GRE coach, I have successfully guided 20 students to achieve their target scores, leveraging my expertise in data analysis and test preparation. Since I became a full-time tutor in 2015, test prep has become the area where most of my tutoring hours come from. Over time, I've become proficient in prepping students for the SAT, ACT, GRE, GED, and ASVAB. Of the more than 30 students I have worked with on GRE prep, all of them needed help with the Quantitative Reasoning section. However, I have also helped students with the Verbal and Analytical Reasoning sections. In addition to building up students' fundamentals, I teach the test-taking skills necessary to get the score they're looking for. The GRE is unlike a "normal" test one might see in college, so having an expert guide is essential. I'm proud to say that all the students I've worked with have been accepted into graduate school, and multiple students are now working on their doctorates.

I'm an experienced GRE tutor who has tutored hundreds of students over the past eight years. My clients have been admitted to Harvard, Yale, MIT, Cornell, and more. I have a 99th-percentile score on the GRE (335), as well as a 98th-percentile score on the GMAT. My approach is straightforward, kind, and effective. My experience is that this also helps tremendously with test anxiety. I teach my students the best and fastest strategies for solving quant questions and the ideal way to think on the verbal section. I also use carefully honed diagnostic tools to assess a student's specific areas of content weakness so that we can maximize the use of our time together. When there are content gaps, I help my students shore those up with uniquely memorable lessons and access to my library of content videos. I track my students' progress carefully with shared google documents, specific homework assignments, a review log, and flash cards.
