About Paul
Hello! I’m Paul. I'm a policy fellow at the U.S. House of Representatives and a recent Harvard Kennedy School Master in Public Policy graduate. Previously, I was a data scientist for the Department of Justice and an economist for the Bureau of Labor Statistics. My coaching specialties are in grad school admissions, the GRE Verbal and Writing sections, U.S. federal government careers and applications, undergraduate and graduate school strategy, resumes and cover letters, and writing assistance. I've been extremely fortunate and received multiple fellowships in my academic career, including a full-tuition scholarship as well as a fully-funded prestigious summer fellowship with the City of Detroit's Mayor's Office. Do you need help with finding scholarships and jobs, writing college admission/scholarship essays, and interview prep? I have helped dozens of people land jobs at prestigious institutions and have helped several people win scholarships for school! I find tremendous joy in helping others succeed and achieve their dreams. I am a fast responder, so please don't hesitate to reach out!
Why do I coach?
"A leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves." - Laozi. Ever since I was little, I have always derived tremendous joy in watching and helping others succeed. I feel this quote from philosopher Laozi best captures my leadership and coaching philosophy—the most effective and sincere leaders perform their benevolent stewardship from behind the scenes, elevating others in authentic and impactful ways.
