I’ve earned perfect scores on the SAT, SAT Math II, GRE Quant, GMAT Quant, and ACT Math, and I’ve guided students in reaching their own top scores — including perfect scores — across GRE Quant and GMAT Quant. I have tutored the GMAT and GRE for 10 years. I worked for Kaplan and a couple of other tutoring firms before striking out on my own 8 years ago. I developed a unique approach to mastering the content presented on the GMAT and GRE, and I also help students structure the entirety of their studying process and provide a comprehensive approach including homework and practice tests. I've tutored over 900 students, most of whom have gone on to attend all of the Top 7 MBA programs, as well as top schools in Europe. I love helping people who are struggling with their progress, giving them a fresh approach, and seeing them finally get the score they are capable of. I have personally taken the GMAT and GRE more times than any person I'm earth, that I'm aware of. I have score 790 multiple times, in addition to many 780s and 770s. I graduated in three years from the University of Miami with a Bachelors degree in the fields of Environmental Science and Economics. After coaching over 100 students in academic and test preparation, working for a test prep company, and providing management and support for undergraduate students in the University of Miami Herbert Business School, I decided to pursue GMAT preparation. I am confidently able to solve the hardest questions given in the quant and verbal sections of the GMAT, and I am confident that I can help you on your journey. I also worked for a test prep company where I gained valuable skills and insights into guaranteeing score increases with all the students I worked with. I have a proven step by step system to raise your score. It starts with learning the key concepts that are tested and then applying these concepts in real test questions from tests. Originally an academic, he holds advanced degrees from Yale, the University of Glasgow, and the University of Georgia, and since leaving academia he has taught, tutored, and written content for Magoosh, Kaplan, Harvard Prep, SuccessPrep, Parliament Tutors, Varsity Tutors, and many other companies, and has since founded his own company, Ivory Tower Tutoring.
