Scored a 750 on the GMAT
The GMAT is a fascinating test compared to others I have coached for (SAT, MCAT, USMLE, etc) if for no other reason than because of its unique scoring and administration system. The GMAT is also differentiate from other professional school exams in that test takers are working professionals applying to business school in parallel with full-time work (as opposed to students with more flexible schedules) and the exam tests topics that most examinees have not directly used in years (think: geometry, multivariable algebra, etc). Each of these features add a dimension to the learning curve which can either make the exam especially challenging OR can be leveraged to accelerate score improvement relative to other examinees. When I coach GMAT clients, we focus on the HOW more than the what. Specifically: how to prepare for the test (what to do each day of prep) and how to take the test (what to do when at the computer on exam day). Focused review of specific content can also be useful on a case by case basis for topics that are particularly problematic for the client and also highly represented on the exam.

About Charlotte
I’m a physician, operator, parent, and lifelong athlete who has spent most of my adult life inside competitive, high-stakes environments. My path might look like it was intentional on paper: Ivy League undergrad, medical school on merit scholarship, chief residency, academic medicine, then an MBA at Harvard Business School where I founded and raised venture capital for a healthcare startup. In reality, it’s been anything but linear. I’ve started things, left things, changed direction, and had to ask hard questions about identity, ambition, and tradeoffs along the way. I know what it’s like to be capable of succeeding on a path and still not be sure it’s the right one. Today, I work with people who are trying to decide whether to pursue (or continue pursuing) medicine or an MBA, especially those who are nontraditional: career switchers, parents, older applicants, or people coming off a rejection who need to regroup and think clearly about next steps. I can help with the full process (standardized testing, applications, interviews, choosing among offers, etc) but where I’m most useful is before all of that. Getting clear on your “why” matters because these paths demand real emotional, financial, and time investment. My goal is to help you make decisions consciously and from a grounded inner wisdom, rather than from inertia or fear.
Why do I coach?
Coaching is my jam. I do it because I love it and, after a lot of practice, I've gotten really good at helping others tap into their inner wisdom. I've experienced first hand the burnout that can follow when a smart, ambitious person drives full steam ahead on something hard/impressive simply because they can. I'm passionate about helping other high achievers avoid this trap! My job isn’t to push you toward a particular outcome. It’s to help you slow down enough to make a grounded decision and then support you fully on whatever path you've chosen. I'm 110% committed to doing what's best for the client (even if that might mean referring you to another coach with more relevant expertise!). When you work with me, you can expect a straight shooter who will ask the right questions, attune to you, and reflect back your inner knowing with clarity. You're making big bet with your time, money, and energy - let's make sure it’s actually YOUR bet and then let's crush the execution together.
