I am an alumnus of the 7th cohort of Schwarzman Scholars at Tsinghua University, where I earned a Master's of Management Science in Global Affairs between 2022-23 and was selected from competitive pool of 3,000+ applicants (<5% acceptance rate). I bring firsthand experience and deep insights into what makes a successful master's application and I've previously helped advise candidates who have gone on to be accepted to prestigious graduate programs across China, Europe, and the United States. Throughout my educational journey, I've learned how to strategically frame and present one's leadership, academic, and professional accomplishments to highlight their unique strengths and successfully stand out.

I work with applicants targeting highly competitive international scholarships and fellowships, with a particular focus on global affairs, public policy, healthcare, and leadership. As a member of the 2025-2026 Schwarzman Scholars cohort at Tsinghua University, I’ve navigated a global selection process firsthand. I understand how panels assess leadership potential, and long-term vision, and how challenging it can be to translate strong experiences into a coherent, compelling narrative. Prior to Schwarzman, I completed a fully funded Master’s in Healthcare Leadership and studied at King’s College London for both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, where I also served as a student ambassador supporting prospective and incoming students through competitive application processes. I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition for both leadership and writing, including the Heather Trickey Prize for policy writing on women’s health, selection as a China-United States Exchange Foundation Young Leaders Scholar (8 selected from over 12,000 applicants), and appointment as a One Young World Ambassador. Each of these experiences required clarity and thoughtful positioning, as well as the ability to articulate impact at a high level. Alongside this, my career across healthcare leadership, consulting, policy, and startup building has required me to consistently operate in high-stakes, and competitive environments. I bring that same structured, strategic, and reflective approach to the applicants I work with.

As a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University and an APEC Scholar at the National University of Singapore, I earned two full-ride master’s degrees—complete with stipends—graduating entirely debt-free and free to dedicate myself to projects and internships I truly cared about. I am a Paul & Daisy Soros Fellow (2026), a Harry S. Truman Scholar (2022 Class Captain and the first Latino recipient from Mississippi), and a Rhodes Scholar Finalist (runner-up for USA District 7 in 2024). This fall, I'm headed to Yale Law School — largely on the strength of these awards. As a first-generation Latino who grew up in poverty, I know exactly how much is at stake when you sit down to write these applications. I wrote every word of my materials from scratch, without institutional support, and I can help you do the same. Over the past four years, I've navigated the full arc of competitive fellowship applications — from building the initial narrative, to preparing for high-stakes finalist interviews, to accepting the award. I've done this across fellowship types: merit-based national scholarships, public interest fellowships, and graduate funding competitions. Beyond my own applications, I've supported peers and mentees through processes ranging from Rhodes and Truman to law school and graduate funding. Through co-founding the Public Interest Law Association (PILA), I've also built systems to help emerging public interest advocates tell their stories compellingly. I understand both the craft of a strong application and the emotional weight of pursuing something potentially life-changing. My coaching is rigorous, personal, and rooted in the belief that the right story — told well — can open doors that once felt closed for good.

I received the Rhodes Scholarship, Marshall Scholarship, and Truman Scholarship. My success was in large part due to the help of thoughtful mentors, who invested their time and energy into helping me create a cohesive narrative and give me confidence. I recognize that when applying to these programs, there's no shortage of advice and opinions. What I found most helpful is to have someone you really trust who works with you to make your application something you're proud of because it genuinely reflects who you are. Those are the strongest applications and the hardest to build. I'm grateful that people in my life helped me convey my whole story through these byzantine applications, and I'm eager to help you do the same.
