Welcome to my profile! As a current MD-PhD candidate at Harvard Medical School and MIT, I bring a wealth of knowledge and firsthand experience to the medical school admissions process. My academic journey includes a Master’s in Epidemiology and Clinical Research from Stanford, where I also did my undergraduate studies in Biology and honed my skills in basic science, clinical trials and data analysis. I've also gained practical experience as a Surgical Scholar at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and as a Volunteer Junior Clinician at Massachusetts General Hospital. With a passion for mentoring, I've successfully guided aspiring medical students through their application journeys, helping them craft compelling narratives and navigate the complexities of the admissions process. I am interested in helping guide aspiring Pre-med and medical students through the admissions/application process. My journey includes completing my MD at Tel Aviv University, Internal Medicine residency at UConn, Chief Resident at Greenwich Hospital, and currently as a Gastroenterology Fellow at Rochester Regional Health. I have also obtained a graduate certificate from UConn in health professions education while in residency. Moreover, I have worked with students, residents, and peers helping them navigate the complexities of both medical school and residency applications and interviews; in addition to helping tutor for the USMLE and ABIM exams.

I am a physician-scientist in training, and I have completed my PhD at the University of Cambridge where I was a Gates Cambridge Scholar, and I am currently pursuing my MD training at Stanford University where I am a Knight-Hennessy Scholar. I am also a Research Fellow at Caius College in Cambridge, which is one of the most prestigious independent research positions. I have over 9 years of experience in academic institutions and have been admitted to several top medical schools including Stanford, Harvard and Yale. I have experience crafting individualised personal statements for some of the world's top scholarships, including Gates Cambridge, Knight-Hennessy and Barry M. Goldwater scholarships. I also have extensive experience in writing and have published multiple sole, first-authored manuscripts in the journal Nature and have won multiple research grants from the NSF and NIH. I have mentored and worked with aspiring medical and graduate school applicants in the US and the UK and have unique insights into the admission process at top universities.

I’m a third-year MD/MSCI student at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, originally from Atlanta, Georgia. I graduated from Brown University in 2021 with a degree in neuroscience and spent the following two years conducting clinical and translational research at the National Institutes of Health. During that time, I also developed a strong passion for mentorship through my work with College Bound, a nonprofit that supports underserved high school students navigating the college admissions process. As a medical school applicant, I was fortunate to be admitted to several top-ten programs. I converted nine of eleven interviews into acceptances and successfully negotiated substantial scholarships from multiple schools, including NYU's full cost-of-attendance Silverstein Scholarship. I credit this success to strategic self-presentation, clear and persuasive communication, and a polished application.
