Welcome! I chose to pursue a full-time MBA program to pivot my career from analysis to strategy consulting. I mapped out the financial opportunity cost of stopping work to go to a full-time program, applied to multiple programs, and received a scholarship to UVA. Welcome to my profile! I have a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford and a Harvard MBA (class of '23.) My background is a bit non-linear - I work full-time in venture capital, and prior to my MBA I worked across engineering and operations teams in deep tech startups. If you are an engineer or tech person looking to use an MBA pivot to business or escape the engineering silo, I have been in your shoes. Successful in receiving admissions offers to multiple top-ranked MBA programs in Canada for both full-time and part-time programs with limited work experience. Got significant support from faculty and had offers to continue to a Ph.D, but decided the opportunity cost was too great. Have supported multiple people in their MBA admissions journey through mentorship.

Admitted to and completed INSEAD MBA, with Distinction

I've coached three clients to MBA success. First, a Marine. I improved his reading comprehension and apprehension with geometry and probability. Second, I improved the client's self-concept. His narrative was perfect. I also mentored him through a mentor at Georgetown University. Now, he is in his first year there, in Business School, ready to command-and-conquer. My second client was a New Yorker who dreamed of going Columbia Business to level up as a manager. His middling GRE score reflected despair; I brought hope. Together through rigorous review and practice we helped him earn a 94th percentile. Using his new writing skills, he crafted a masterful narrative. Now he is at Columbia Business Alum and rockin' it in the corporate space (a la Industry). Next was the client from West Virginia. It was a family affair. I tutored the sister to improve her vocabulary and outlining techniques; I tutored the brother in crafting a convincing narrative. He is now in his second year at Harvard Business. I am also in a network of MBAs. Most of my cohort from Penn 11 either has an MBA or a JDBMA or both. Indeed my closest friend locally, in politics, is at USC Marshall, and I've helped him through his Econometrics and Statistics classes throughout - gratis (thank you for your service).
