I spent 3+ years preparing to apply to my dream business school programs. On that journey, I talked to hundreds of others also on this path, which helped me uncover best practices. I also worked with MBA consultants and MBA-prep organizations that taught me additional tools I could have adopted to shorten the time-to-apply timeline. Ever since I got into my desired program, I've advised many MBA candidates and provided my unique learnings, which have resulted in most getting into their top programs. I'm passionate about helping others navigate what often feels like an unruly MBA path.

I hold an MBA and MSc in Design Innovation from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, one of the world's top business programs. Born in Shanghai and educated across Hong Kong and the US, I understand the unique challenges international candidates face, from positioning a non-Western career narrative to communicating across cultural contexts in essays and interviews. I'm fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, which allows me to work closely with candidates from Chinese-speaking backgrounds navigating the US admissions process. With years of experience as the Assistant Director of the PhD Program at Harvard Business School, I advised and supported more than 130 students annually while also leading admissions committees for doctoral programs in addition to MBA programs. This work gave me direct, insider perspective on how the world’s most competitive business schools evaluate candidates and make decisions. Drawing on this expertise, I now coach prospective MBA students through every stage of the application journey — from crafting compelling personal narratives and refining essays, to interview preparation and strategic school selection.
