I spent 3+ years preparing to apply to my dream business school programs. On that journey, I talked to hundreds of others also on this path, which helped me uncover best practices. I also worked with MBA consultants and MBA-prep organizations that taught me additional tools I could have adopted to shorten the time-to-apply timeline. Ever since I got into my desired program, I've advised many MBA candidates and provided my unique learnings, which have resulted in most getting into their top programs. I'm passionate about helping others navigate what often feels like an unruly MBA path.

I am a deferred MBA admit at MIT Sloan and recently graduated from Boston University. I am here to help undergrad students navigate the MBA application process. Having recently applied to deferred MBA programs, I have insight into how admission committees evaluate undergraduate profiles. Deferred applicants have a unique set of experiences such as internships, university clubs, and classroom projects that require a tailored application strategy. I believe every component of the application—from the resume to the interview— is an opportunity to story tell. Welcome to my profile! As a Stanford MBA graduate and former Stanford MBA Admissions Ambassador, I have a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in the top-tier MBA admissions process. During my own application process I worked with a coach and spent 50+ hours refining a cohesive narrative and putting all the pieces together to tell a compelling story. Hi, I'm Maclaine Fields. I’m currently an MBA candidate at Harvard Business School (Class of 2026). I graduated from Harvard College in 2020 with a degree in Economics. Before HBS, I worked at McKinsey & Company, where I focused on consumer, retail, and higher education. I did a rotation with McKinsey's economic research arm, the McKinsey Global Institute. I also did an externship with the strategy team at lululemon. I’ve coached individuals who have landed offers at McKinsey and other top firms and gained admission to leading MBA programs including HBS and Stanford GSB.
