I was a non-traditional applicant for business school. I was not strong quantitatively, and came from technology sales. I did not have a network of people who had MBAs, and felt like I was drowning. We can work through each of the reasons people typically get MBAs. I am happy to share my experience as well. Welcome! As a current MBA candidate at the MIT Sloan School of Management, I bring both fresh insights and practical experience to the admissions process. My professional background includes business development and tech sales at a leading digital marketing SaaS company and operations management at a fashion-tech startup. Most recently, I serves as a Strategy & Operations MBA Intern at Google, working within the Google Ads division. At Sloan, I hold leadership positions as President of the Retail & Consumer Goods Club and SVP of Admissions for Sloan Women in Management (SWIM), where I work directly with the Admissions Office to recruit and assist candidates. With my Economics & German degree from Middlebury College and multicultural background from the Philippines & Switzerland, I offer a unique perspective on crafting compelling applications. I grew up across five U.S. cities and spent years living on four continents, so “Where are you from?” rarely has a tidy answer. But why I move is simple: to help people become the best version of themselves. For me, that impact starts with food. My personal mission is to make healthy meals exciting, accessible, and affordable. That mission led me to build a hydroponic farm in my apartment, donate 20K lbs of food to furloughed service workers during COVID, and start a kombucha company in China. That clarity of vision led me to become the first person ever admitted to Stanford GSB and the Schwarzman Scholars program in the same application cycle. I hold degrees from Harvard, MIT, Wharton, and Stanford—giving me firsthand experience navigating multiple highly selective MBA and graduate programs. As a Stanford GSB Sloan Fellow (MSx), Wharton MBA/Lauder MA graduate, former INSEAD exchange student, and London Business School admit, I don’t just understand elite admissions—I’ve done it repeatedly across U.S. and European systems. Today I’m an active entrepreneur, investor, and board member: co-founder of an AI-native digital health company operating in Mexico, partner at a real estate private equity firm, and founding partner of a venture firm. I’ve also guest lectured at Stanford School of Medicine and MIT. That means my coaching isn’t just about getting in—it’s about building a credible, compelling story that matches what top programs are actually trying to select: leaders who will execute and create impact after graduation. I work with both U.S. and international applicants (with deep experience advising Latin American candidates; I’m fluent in Spanish and Portuguese).
