About Tomilola

I'm Tomilola Abiodun, founder of TitanRConsulting and a Fisher College of Business MBA alum (Class of 2019). Before I was advising students, I was one of them, navigating admissions, funding, and career pivots as an international student in a system that wasn't built with people like me in mind. That experience shaped TitanR, but the work has grown well beyond it. Over the past seven years, I've helped 500+ students get into the programs they were aiming for, secured more than $35M in scholarships for them, and supported 350+ career placements. My clients include a strong international community across Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East, as well as a large base of domestic US students working on admissions and career goals. I've also built partnerships with schools like Johns Hopkins, University of Georgia, and The Ohio State University because I believe the work doesn't stop at the acceptance letter; it continues through funding and landing the right job afterward. I coach admissions strategy, scholarship positioning, and career navigation, for international and domestic students alike.

Why do I coach?

I didn't have someone who'd been through exactly what I was going through when I was applying as an international student. I figured out the unwritten rules mostly the hard way: how admissions committees actually read applications, how scholarship committees decide, how career timelines need to be planned for from the start rather than tacked on at the end. That gap is what I coach into. I know what it feels like to be highly capable on paper and still feel unsure how to make that show up in an application or interview. So when I work with a client, whether they're applying from abroad or are a domestic student trying to stand out in a competitive market, I'm not just polishing an essay or a resume. I'm trying to give them the insider's map I wish I'd had; how to tell their story so it lands, how to find funding they didn't know existed, how to think about career outcomes from day one instead of as an afterthought. Coaching matters to me because the stakes are real for every client I work with. A misstep can mean a missed scholarship, a stalled application, or a job search that runs out of time. Helping someone get it right and watching them walk into a program or a job they weren't sure they could reach, is the most direct, satisfying win I know.
