I'm a Wharton MBA and Palmer Scholar (top 5% of my graduating class), and I've spent years helping high-performing professionals navigate some of the most competitive admissions and career processes in the world. As a candidate, I successfully earned admission to a top MBA program. As a consultant and leader at BCG, I spent more than a decade mentoring and advising consultants pursuing MBA programs, helping them develop compelling applications, articulate their leadership stories, and position themselves for success at top business schools. I've spent the last 16+ years helping ambitious applicants get into the world's most competitive MBA programs, including Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, MIT Sloan, Yale SOM, and Booth. Across 200+ MBA clients, 95% have been admitted to at least one of their top-choice programs, and over half have received scholarship money. I graduated from NYU Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Economics and English, and earned my MBA from Columbia Business School in 2020, where I focused on Strategy and Entrepreneurship. That gives me a current, first-hand perspective on what M7 adcoms are actually looking for. My career in this work started in Singapore, at a test prep and admissions firm I helped expand into Shanghai, running tutoring and admissions consulting in both markets before coming back to New York to found my own practice. That international background means I'm equally comfortable working with US candidates and applicants from Asia, Europe, and beyond, particularly the kinds of candidates who often have the strongest stories but the hardest time articulating them: finance professionals reinventing themselves, engineers making a pivot, non-traditional career switchers. As an alum of Harvard Business and Kennedy Schools, I navigated multiple graduate degree admissions processes. I’ve worked with candidates who have successfully applied to Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, MIT, and other top MBA programs. I started my career at Bain & Company and then worked in tech (biz ops and growth) before grad school. I have been closely involved in civic and public service opportunities including working at the US Treasury and serving as a State Delegate prior to school. While in my three-year MPP and MBA program, I worked in Venture Capital and Growth Equity investing at Norwest Venture Partners, Floodgate Ventures, and Summit Partners. I now run Growth Strategy @ Carta, a $7B tech co in Silicon Valley. I coach in my spare time because I love helping candidates distill their stories and present the best version of themselves to adcoms! When I applied, my partner was also interested in an MBA -- we wanted to maximize our chances of living in the same city during school, which led us to deeply research and contact admissions and alumni at all top 7 MBA programs to ensure we understood how we would be evaluated. After hundreds of hours of research myself, there is nothing I love more than being able to share that knowledge strategically & concisely with applicants. I particularly enjoy working with dual-degree candidates, candidates with public/non-profit sector experience and candidates interested in emerging tech and Venture Capital. I am a current student of the Kellogg School of Management, with previous work experience within management consulting and in two high growth startups in NYC . I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor of science in Finance and received my masters degree in Information Systems and Operations Management. After school, I spent some time at management consulting firm Guidehouse Consulting before I transitioned to a Series B Unicorn food tech startup called Gorillas - the fastest European startup to ever reach a $1B valuation. I led the growth function at Gorillas for one year until I was offered the opportunity to lead North American expansion for micro-mobility startup Zoomo. At Zoomo I led our expansion into new markets, including launching our first Canadian operations. As an applicant from an over-represented demographic with a sub-optimal GMAT score and a lack of "prestigious" work experience I was able to navigate the application process and successfully land multiple top business school admits. As a coach, I plan to teach you the tips and tricks necessary to be successful in the ultra-competitive business school admissions cycle. I had immense success with gaining admission to a number of M7 and Top 10 schools including Kellogg, Yale, and Dartmouth Tuck.
