I am a rising 3L at Stanford Law School. I love working with students to craft a cohesive, powerful narrative that reflects their accomplishments so they can gain admission to their dream law school or university. I take a holistic approach, taking time to understand my clients' background, personality, and goals. I do not let median GPAs or test scores or admission rates dictate my clients' application strategy or success. I can also guide students on how to discuss their race and ethnicity in our post-affirmative action reality. By closely studying the U.S. Supreme Court decisions Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) v Harvard and Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) v UNC overturning affirmative action, I've been able to help my clients discuss their race and ethnicity in ways that law school admissions offices can legally consider when reviewing their application. Throughout law school, I have completed 5 internships in the public, private, and non-profit sector including a Big Law internship, two state attorney general internships, a local government internship, and an internship at a leading international non-profit environmental advocacy organization. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Environmental Economics and Policy and a B.A. in Urban Studies. In undergrad, I worked as a research assistant and independent researcher while also serving as president of the Berkeley Urban Studies Student Association. I have coached undergrads through their law school application process and high school students through their college admissions process. I have helped undergrad and high school students get admitted to programs where they had well below-median GPAs and/or standardized test scores.

I grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, and earned my degrees in French and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I went on to pursue my Juris Doctor (JD) at Duke University School of Law — an experience that deepened my love for the study of law. While I briefly worked in the legal field, I quickly realized that what truly inspired me wasn’t practicing law — it was helping others find their path through education. That realization led me to pivot into the field of international higher education, where I discovered my passion for mentoring students through the admissions process. For over 15 years, I’ve worked in university admissions at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. As a former admissions officer, I’ve reviewed hundreds of applications from students around the world. My experience includes serving as the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions at the University of Chicago Booth Executive MBA program, where I gained firsthand insight into what top-tier programs look for in standout candidates. I spent over a decade living in Hong Kong, where I worked with both local and international students on applications to law school, MBA, Master’s, and undergraduate programs. Now based back in Raleigh, I continue to support students worldwide as they pursue their academic and professional goals. There's so much information on what a law school applicant should do, it can feel overwhelming. My goal has always been to provide superior information targeted to each student's unique circumstances. No questions are off limits, I make the path simple, comfortable and understanding. We can tackle anything or everything – from the minutiae of getting your recs/transcripts to LSAC to crafting your personal statements. Perhaps the best definition I’ve heard of a law school personal statement is that it’s a chance to tell your story. My goal is to capture a side of you that no one can deny is uniquely you. Law school trains you to be an attorney. But every student, every lawyer, is first and foremost a person – with a story. Your story informs your judgment. As an attorney, you hold tremendous power in society. Showing an admissions committee who you are through your story demonstrates how you’ll use that power responsibly. Our purpose is to tell your story. I believe every person has greatness inside of them and our goal is to show your greatness through your story.

As a two-time member of the Georgetown Law Admissions Committee with 10 years of experience as an admissions consultant, I know what law schools are looking for and how to help students present themselves positively and persuasively to the admissions committee. I am an expert educator and editor with experience teaching college students and professionals in one-on-one and group settings with specific emphasis in writing and prelaw skills. My experience as an attorney at the #1 intellectual property litigation group in the country, as well as in the federal government and small to medium-sized firms, has provided me with insider knowledge about the skills and qualities legal employers are seeking. My former students have graduated from some of the top law schools, including Columbia, Georgetown, and George Washington, and have continued on to federal clerkships, law firms, public interest, and government roles. 🎓 I get it: I recently underwent both the US and UK law school admissions process (spring 2023), with successful results in both. I was admitted to NYU (matriculated), Columbia, Georgetown, and GW, and was waitlisted at Yale. I was also accepted to the University of Law in London and BPP (and can share why I opted for the US over UK system). I can help clients craft their law school narrative in the context of a rapidly evolving admissions system. I am available to review applicants' essays, provide interview strategy tips, and share guidance on the financial aid process. 👨🏾‍💼 I've succeeded in the job market: I'm familiar with the BigLaw recruiting process for 1Ls, which I successfully underwent in summer 2024, with early offers from 6 of the 8 BigLaw firms to which I applied. Last summer, I interned at two US law firms (AmLaw 100) with strong international litigation and arbitration practices and will refer to one of these firms after graduation.
