Let's connect! What's the process like? I like to do a 15-30 minute meeting up front to understand your background, goals, and priorities. We identify tasks to accomplish and set deadlines for each, taking a step-by-step approach that feels manageable. Clients can send written drafts anytime, and I provide written feedback within 48 hours. I'm always available to answer pop-up questions and support. We schedule follow-up meetings as needed.

Brian was personally admitted to multiple Ivy League law schools before choosing to pursue a JD at UC Berkeley. He also holds a master of social science from UCLA. His research interests include Bitcoin, green finance, and civil liberties.

Daniel Khalessi served as President of the Stanford Law Review and is a startup and venture capital lawyer at Sidley Austin LLP in San Francisco. Having lost his Dad at a young age, Daniel understands what it is like to overcome challenges. A product of Bay Area public schools, Daniel earned a B.A. from Stanford, M.A. in Global Affairs from Yale, M.A. in Economics (China Studies) from Peking University, and his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he served as a Teaching Assistant in constitutional law and earned prizes for outstanding performance. He previously worked as a startup lawyer at Latham & Watkins LLP and as a China analyst at Harvard's Belfer Center.

Welcome to my profile! I am currently a third year student at Harvard Law School, where I have interned for a variety of civil rights legal nonprofits and worked extensively with clients facing criminal charges. I was admitted to Harvard through the Junior Deferral Program in 2018, ultimately deferring my admission for four years to work as a paralegal and policy associate in Atlanta, GA. I have extensive experience writing and editing. I've written professionally, publishing in outlets including New York Magazine, MSNBC, and Teen Vogue. During my first year in law school, I won the award for Best Brief in my Legal Research and Writing class, and next year, I will be clerking for a federal district court judge -- a prestigious position in the federal courts. Finally, I am the co-editor of a book about an activist movement in Atlanta, through which I edited over thirty contributors' essays. All this to say -- I love editing other people's work and drawing out their passions! I'm especially passionate about working with students and applicants, and especially love editing personal statements and other application materials. I am a Yale Law School, Bain & Co., and Yale College alum who is passionate about helping applicants tell their stories.
