There's so much information on what a law school applicant should do, it can feel overwhelming. My goal has always been to provide superior information targeted to each student's unique circumstances. No questions are off limits, I make the path simple, comfortable and understanding. We can tackle anything or everything – from the minutiae of getting your recs/transcripts to LSAC to crafting your personal statements. Perhaps the best definition I’ve heard of a law school personal statement is that it’s a chance to tell your story. My goal is to capture a side of you that no one can deny is uniquely you. Law school trains you to be an attorney. But every student, every lawyer, is first and foremost a person – with a story. Your story informs your judgment. As an attorney, you hold tremendous power in society. Showing an admissions committee who you are through your story demonstrates how you’ll use that power responsibly. Our purpose is to tell your story. I believe every person has greatness inside of them and our goal is to show your greatness through your story.

About Jimmy
I'll never forget my first appointment with a college pre-law advisor. We acknowledged my GPA wasn't exactly "high." I sheepishly mentioned a “safety” law school on my list. Almost under her breath, she muttered, "Yeah... that's definitely a reach." I was instantly crushed by her words and I felt physically sick for days. But making things happen in life is about getting back up... I'm what you'd call a classic "splitter” in LSAT jargon. I worked late nights throughout college which took its toll on my GPA. As a result, I needed a high LSAT score to give me a fighting chance at my target law schools. The journey wasn't easy but it taught me valuable lessons and techniques I love to share with my students. My first PT was a 149, but through hard work and more than one LSAT take, I scored a 173 (99th percentile). Despite my lackluster GPA, that score helped me gain admission and full tuition scholarships to top law schools including Duke, Berkeley and Georgetown. Students often ask if I went back and shared my score and acceptances with that pre-law advisor. Nope. Deep down, I already believed in myself and I just needed to put my potential and drive into action. Plus, she switched to another job and I couldn’t track her down! But that exchange keeps me humble and reminds me how each of us has unlimited potential. I believe in every one of my students. I treat each of them the way I would want to be treated because I walked that very same path.
