I have a degree in English from the University of Cambridge, and I am a former news journalist, relentless reader, avid writer, and Stanford MBA. My first law school client came from a military background. We worked together from the get-go on her Personal Statement, Optional and Diversity Statements, resume, and preparing for interviews. She got into: Harvard, Cornell, Michigan, Vanderbilt, GWU, Syracuse, Boston College and Colorado. My name is Alexia Godron, and I'm a J.D. candidate at Columbia Law School. I originally applied to law school as a GPA/LSAT splitter, and transferred from Boston University School of Law after my first year. I've always been very passionate about helping people reach their full potential, particularly when it comes to education! I also have significant experience in tutoring and coaching - I've worked with high school students in college admissions coaching for three years, volunteer as an alumni interviewer for Yale University college admissions, and tutored French and Greek for over 4 years (including at the Yale Center for Language Study). Bill De La Rosa serves as Co-Chair of Humanity in Action’s American Planning Board and is a legal intern for the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild. Before his legal and doctoral studies at Yale Law School and the University of Oxford, he worked for the Pima County Administrator’s Office, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Center for Law and Social Policy, the Maine Volunteer Lawyers Project, and a member of the U.S. Congress. Raised in South Tucson, Arizona, Bill holds a B.A. Phi Beta Kappa in Latin American Studies and Sociology with Honors from Bowdoin College, where he became a Truman Scholar, John Lewis Fellow, and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund’s Hispanic Scholar of the Year. Bill also has an M.Sc. in Migration Studies with Merit and an M.Sc. in Criminology and Criminal Justice with Distinction from the University of Oxford, where he was a Marshall Scholar and Clarendon Scholar. At Yale, he has been named a Hurst Horizon Scholar, an International Strategy Forum Fellow, and a Katzmann Fellow.

Growing up as the son of two attorneys, the legal field is something that I have always had exposure to. Whether it was sitting in on mom's client meetings or hearing my dad's law school stories, I felt immersed in various aspects of the legal profession. As a result of their experiences, I have gained immense insight into not only the applicant perspective of law school admissions but also the real-world components that attorneys and admissions seek out in incoming candidates for their programs. In the 2024-2025 law school admissions cycle, I was admitted to 10 law schools, with 9 being a part of the T14 (Harvard, UChicago, and UPenn just to name a few!). Through my experiences of applying to schools and connecting with admissions officers across the country, I have a deeper understanding of key aspects to intertwine into your law school application. I am committed to helping law school become a more accessible option for individuals who feel that it is not attainable which is exactly why I want to help you achieve your dreams!
